What is "kimusubi" aikido and how is it different?

Musubi (moo-soo-bi) is roughly translated from Japanese as "tying the knot". Kimusubi, therefore, is the tying together of ki (energy) between individuals. Kimusubi aikido emphasizes establishing strong connections between uke and nage, in order to move in accord with one another during technique.
